Miami International is a great place to catch Central and South American airlines. Its also a major hub for AA so it provides a good chance to get some of the special markings the AA fleet now has.

Opa Locka is located a few miles north of MIA and is a fantastic place to see aircraft that are being restored, reclaimed or just wasting away.

Late winter in Florida provides great light without the fear of thunderstorms and heat haze.
