Indonesia is a country that can't survive without air travel because it is composed of so many islands. There are many airlines operating here that can't be seen elsewhere and some of them are using equipment that is quite dated.
Finding a place to take photos at CGK was quite an adventure! The towns on the sides of the airport are difficult to navigate and the roads are very tiny and bumpy. But with some good luck you can find a place. The place where most of the photos were taken becomes quite a carnival in the evening as town residents gather to watch planes, eat food and put their kids on tiny bicycle driven carnival rides.
