Space Shuttle Discovery Arrives at the NASM Udvar-Hazy Museum

17 Apr 2012 to 19 Apr 2012

Although it is the sad end of an era for US space travel, the arrival of the Space Shuttle Discovery at the National Air & Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center was quite a spectacle. The Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) 747 carried the Discovery from KSC in the morning arriving at Dulles airport, making a low pass by the museum, flying over Washington DC and then returning to Dulles for another low pass and then landing.
